Shahla Atlas is a musician and composer. She began classical piano at age three and came of age in the 90s rave scene of NYC while attending the FAME school, also known as LaGuardia Arts. During later years at Juilliard, she played in orchestras, opera pits and chamber ensembles and has also taught on Broadway. Now specializing in synthesizers and drum machines, she is most inspired by her love of electronic music yet channels her classical roots to produce smooth arrangements.
Shahla has enjoyed a diverse career of local and international projects for over twenty years. Born and raised in New York City, she has left her studio in Williamsburg and her home in Greenpoint for a life in Stockholm.
